In 2023, I made my husband a knit patchwork poncho for NY Sheep and Wool. He wears it literally all the time. He requested another one with more of a cowl neck for winter. I settled on The Harvester sweater pattern as I’ve started getting into colorwork recently. (I knit Halibut and I loved it and wanted to do more easy color work) I’m knitting this with KnitPicks Wool of the Andes and Madeline Tosh Work Sock Sport.
I plan to not separate the sleeves to make it poncho-shaped and add in some increases and decreases to make the sides a bit longer to cover the arms.
After the colorwork was completed, I started on my made-up shaping and will be knitting in a circle for an eternity.
