This will be my second project out of the yarn I got at Rhinebeck last year. I’m knitting up the Pretty Things Poncho by Lavanya Patricella out of Lolabean Yarn Co. Soy Bean (DK base) in colors Electric Youth (white) and Thunder & Lightning (gray). I misread the pattern and didn’t realize one color was supposed to be worsted so… oops. I’ll knit a larger size with the smaller yarn and pray for the best because I don’t think I’m getting another shot at Lolabean for awhile.

I finished the front and back cable strips and have started on the main body of the poncho – all of the brioche! I think this will be a fun commute knit as the brioche portion is pretty easy going.
