The WIPs, as of now

By

I’ve always wanted to go “cold sheep” – not buy any new yarn and work purely from stash. So, naturally, I went to NY Sheep & Wool last October and got more than enough to last me quite some time. So, I’m partly using this blog as a way to keep track of my projects and using my own stash.

In no particular order, here are the WIPs thus far:

Campside Cardi, started 1/1/24:

Hoodie Shawl Cardigan, started 2/1/22:

[I actually can’t find this one at the moment, so no picture. It’ll get it’s own post eventually, though]

Pretty Things Poncho, started 11/4/23:

Cozy Memories Blanket, started 4/5/17:

Fox and the Grapes, started 8/20/16:

So clearly, those last two are a touch… embarrassing. I may call those very slow fashion. In my defense, the Cozy Memories is a king size blanket using left overs, minis, and scrap yarn. The Fox and Grapes shawl was started shortly before I got my first (and only) cat, Odin, and I was a bit afraid of him eating some beads. I still am.

I wouldn’t call it a resolution exactly, but I am trying to go through this year a bit more mindful of using up what I already have and completing these works in progress. As far as knitting content goes, I’ll update this if I make significant progress on a project, complete a project, abandon a project, or start a new one without finishing anything on this list (which will probably happen..)
